I am at the beginning of the three months program with Biospan. So far, my interaction with them was amazing. I must say I understood what it means to keep your sugar level at a steady level, which is basically the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. The recipes that were created for me by Chef Kevin are amazingly good, but I find it problematic to find the time to cook all of them, mostly because of my busy work schedule, and also because I am un unexperienced cook myself :). The secret is to give yourself time, and change your lifestyle step by step. After 3 weeks of my experience with Biospan, I must say, my focus on doing groceries has changed completely. I saw Biospan online, and I wasn't sure at first, because it looked like something for athletes. I wanted a chef for my family.My partner and I have used chefs in the past and we always enjoyed it. We're growing older and have some stubborn belly fat we wanted to lose. we're moving to London, and we wanted something healthier. Maximilian was really helpful and assured me that they would help us lose weight, and our kids would enjoy it too. They recommended we get a chef to come in for 6 days per week. "Struggling with eczema and anxiety is mentally draining. Doctors never really took the time to understand my health issues. The lack of empathy and help was frustrating. It seemed like no one was interested in finding out why my eczema was flaring up. I would just get prescribed some steroid cream and moved on. The flare ups were getting so bad that I didn’t even want to leave the house. My face was covered with dry skin and red rashes. I knew the doctors weren’t going to help me.

I booked a call with Dorian, but before the call, I was asked to fill out some forms about my diet and lifestyle - which already added some much-needed optimism to my situation as they were concerned with knowing every aspect of my health. Finally someone cared!
The call was amazing! To have someone as knowledgeable as Dorian go through every aspect of your health is invaluable. He helped me identify what the potential cause of my eczema could be, what I could do to fix it and also prevent it from coming back. After suggesting I go on a low FODMAP diet, I came away from the conversation, for the first time ever, sure I was going to cure my eczema.
After days on this diet, my eczema started to clear up. Two weeks in, and was completely gone.

My wife and I (both recently retired, empty nesters) were finding it increasingly difficult to keep to a healthy diet. Our own cooking had become a little stale and frankly a little uninteresting. Meals at home were becoming a chore, which meant more take-aways and "heavy" meals out... We found Biospan on the web, and had a chat with the founder, Maximillian Burrell. Their approach appealed to us, so we gave it a go. A friendly dietician interviewed us online and helped to design an overall eating plan to suit our lifestyles and various minor ailments. We were introduced to a chef....
who comes to ours once a week to prepare three meals (chosen from a choice of meals offered the week before), using organic, locally sourced ingredients. Chef Sheila, a warm person and a whizz in the kitchen, comes at about 6pm at the beginning of each week, with most of the food prepped. She cooks up and serves a delicious and balanced dinner, and leaves in the fridge the next two meals (next day's lunch and dinner) all packed and ready to go, with detailed instructions for any last minute protein grilling, baking, etc.
The arrangement has been terrific for us. We have improved the quality of our meals at home (thereby cutting down on take-aways, etc., with their high salt/additives), and have reduced substantially food wastage (as everything Sheila prepares for us gets happily consumed, either immediately, or as "left overs" during the course of the rest of the week).
Sheila is conscientious in the kitchen and always leaves things clean and tidy. And the Biospan team are always available to sort out meal planning, changes in scheduling, etc. It is not an inexpensive service, and it did take a few weeks to sort out a few teething issues. But after almost three months of the service, we've concluded it is good value for money, given the considerable improvement in in our diets (and wellbeing) that this service has brought us. And the Biospan team are always available to sort out meal planning, changes in scheduling, etc.

I LOVE IT!!! I hate cooking and have to take care of the kids, and have put on weight since having my newest born. I wanted healthy food to lose weight and the nutrition has been really useful. It took a little bit of time to get started and the forms took a long time to fill out, but once it was all done, I didn't really have to do anything.
My chef is nice, and food always smells really good. I had a few problems with portion size at the start. They were too big for me, but Maximilian was really helpful and we sorted that out pretty quickly. My life is so much easier now, I think my partner wants to start this too soon. It's a bit expensive, but definitely worth it. We never like the meal prep companies. It just felt like ready meals.
